Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents are Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as mother of a Russian mother. At the age of 11 she choreographed and performed a dance that earned her a German television appearance. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. Following her graduation from the requirements for high school and college in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. Her family relocated from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13 years old. She is a star along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. She is best known as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
